CHILDREN'S CHOICE DAYCARE
Lena’s journey as an Educator began in 1988. For over 25 years, she has seen childcare as her way of making a difference in the world by making a difference in the lives of the children she cares for.
The Staff at Children’s Choice believe in everything that Children’s Choice stands for; quality Early Childhood Education that is rooted in family, caring, communication, honesty and respect. They wake up every day knowing that they have the privilege of enriching the lives of the children they teach and are committed to building a strong childcare community.
Children's Choice Daycare provides an engaging learning environment to prepare your children for later education by fostering their life and social skills. We provide a challenging yet warm platform for your child to develop a positive self-concept, self-esteem, independence and language.
Children have the same core developmental needs which require support both at home and in the educational setting. Children are innate learners; their eagerness is only outweighed by their curiosity. How we educate children in the early years is crucial to shaping them into the adults they will later become. Our teachers strive to create an environment that invites children to positively explore, discover, and learn about themselves, their peers and the world around them.
As Educators, we are one of your child’s first outside influences; we are supporters of their development. We learn from children and then add to our knowledge of child development through our observations of children. We recognize that each child is unique, and treat each of them with the best attention and care they deserve.

WE ARE BUCKET FILLERS!
Bucket filling is an easy-to-understand concept: Everyone carries an invisible bucket that holds our good thoughts and feelings. It is constantly emptied or filled, depending on what others say or do to us. When our buckets are full, we feel happy and when our buckets are empty, we feel sad.
Children quickly understand that they can fill buckets when they do and say things that are kind, considerate, caring, and respectful. They also learn that when they are mean, inconsiderate, uncaring, or disrespectful, they dip into buckets and remove those good feelings. Even the youngest child understands that actions and words can either fill a bucket or dip into it.
We face a choice every moment of every day: We can fill one another's buckets, or we can dip from them. It's an important choice -- one that profoundly influences our relationships, productivity, health, and happiness. Remember, YOU can make a difference each time you brighten someone's life through small efforts like a smile, kind word, saying thank you or showing you care.
At Children's Choice, we encourage, remind, and recognize everyone’s efforts to be bucket fillers at home, at school, and everywhere they go. Visit www.bucketfillers101.com for more information and bucket filling resources!
